Vine Tree Self Catering Holiday Cottage.

Overview

Our beautiful 15th century cottage has been re-furbished to a high standard. We want to to enjoy your stay here and recommend us to your friends who you feel would also enjoy the Cotswold holiday cottage experience.

We have tried to give you all that is best of an "old-world" feel, but with the convenience and comfort of modern facilities.

So, you will find that whilst there is wood-burning stove in the lounge, there are also electric heaters throughout the cottage for that "instant heat" effect.

We think that whilst a cotswold cottage is naturally warm, appealing and romantic, Vine Tree self catering holiday cottage is special.  Our rooms are carefully designed to ensure maximum comfort, romance and convenience. Most rooms are beamed (original oak); a cosy wood-burning stove in the lounge give a romantic atmosphere and yet you will still have access to fully modernised and equipped kitchen facilities.

There are two double bedrooms and one twin, allowing easy occupation by six people. But also, the "minstrel gallery" over the kitchen/diner has space for futons and the lounge has a high quality sofa bed to allow good friends to squeeze in ten. Should you require facilities for small children; cot, high chair etc, please let us know in advance and we will be pleased to provide this.

Although Vine Tree cottage is self catering, there is a wide choice of restaurants and pubs in nearby Cheltenham and Tewkesbury, as well as many in the villages.

Lounge.

The large and spacious lounge, with its exposed original ceiling and wall beams,  features a magnificent oak linteled hearth with a stove and plenty of storage for logs. An old bread oven (now no longer used) makes an interesting feature. Overlooking the front garden, the lovely view outside and cosy romantic interior will ensure you feel completely at home as soon as you arrive.
You will find all the home comforts here, including sofa/bed, TV and music centre. We also ensure that you have a range of music, dvds, books and magazines available.	Vine Tree Cottage at Christmas 2008

Kitchen/Dining Room.

The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with all you will need for enjoyable self-catering and dining. Also supplied are all your normally needed domestic utilities including an electric heater Beautifully decorated, the kitchen features an open roofspace and a "minstel's gallery". The minstrel's gallery may be used as extra sleeping space or a children's play area. *  (See note at bottom of page)

Kitchen area

Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area. The table will easily accomodate eight persons, and ten if you're all friendly! Equipment supplied for your holiday includes: Electric oven Electric hob Microwave Toaster Fridge with freezer compartment Variety of pans and cooking implements Roasting and oven dishes Crockery and cutlery for 10 place settings Tea towels Washing machine Iron and ironing board

Should you have any special rquirements not listed above, please feel free to ask. We will do our best to ensure you have everything you need for a comforatable and enjoyable stay with us.

* The "minstrel's gallery" should only be used for small children under supervision, due to the close access to the stairs. We supply a child gate to prevent small children from wandering up these stairs when not supervised.

Bedrooms

Vine Tree holiday cottage has two double bedrooms and one twin:

Bathroom Facilities. We know that you will want to be clean and comfortable during your stay so we have ensured that there are facilities for self-catering tofor group of up to ten people.
